BUNAWONA UGANDA COMMUNITY OUTREACH (BUCO) Inc.is a registered  charitable non-profit, 501(c)(3) charity under the  Federal Tax ID: 46-2777655 in the United States. organization based in USA .Founded in 2013 by the Director Bunawona Dental Clinic Uganda,  And the founding member of BUNAWONA VOLUNTARY DENTAL ASSOCIATION (CBO) -Uganda in  2005 .Dr. Grace Stephen S.
Grace Stephen Sseruyange, had a humble back ground , grow up from a poor community in Uganda, studied  and qualified as a Dentist  in
Uganda and a Dental Technologist in USA, With a 10 years experience in the dental filed, both in third world Uganda  and international world.
Having worked with different people in the whole world , doing private practice and working with the government entities for years, served in a number of charitable organisations like Deser-rate  international  USA, Uganda Branch under DR. Ntwatwa Lule, and Dentaid UK. BVDA -Uganda  and attending different universities and colleges in Uganda and USA.
In the whole world and mainly Uganda, Africa health is a major problem, with lack of qualified  personnel  ,trained and motivated health individuals who have a motive and love  to serve in the health filed.This is like God’s calling, to restore and save  life.
I saw there was a need to help and start BUCO , In USA to assist in looking for all kind of donations, Volunteers  and friends  to assist the poor Ugandan Community with health.
 For the start we are starting the construction and   opening  a health  Clinic and training school, to train the health personnel  starting with certificates and Diplomas to help with the grass root work , mainly starting with the’ dental assistants, Dental public health officers and Dental Technicians.

Mission Statement

  1. DENTAL HEALTH;-

    To relieve dental pain and suffering while preserving oral health through preventative education and comprehensive treatment to those with no other access to dental care.This will  be achieved through training of;  Public health Dental officers ,  Diploma 3 years course , certificates  and diplomas dental  Technicians and  certificate dental chair side assistants to help in the dental offices and to reach the far less rural  undeserved  served communities.

A number of mothers and babies  plus children  die during pregnancy and after birth, BUCO. inc., saw a vacuum to help Africa mothers and new born children.

A number of Children become mothers , as a result or rape and they end up in unwanted marriages, and un happy life.These young mothers drop our of school, become a miss- fortune in community and a neglect by their  families and the community , because of the ignorance and the different cultures in Africa.

This  results in domestic violence because of the  forced marriages. BUCO.   friends  in USA decided to look for funds to assist these affected poor people in Africa to make the have a second life.

We ope ted to open an office and open up a mother care unit center in Uganda to help and serve these people to make them self reliance.

The school project construction is going on well, so far  plastering and flooring is going on.This  school  will help to assist l  to train medical personnel  to assist the country in dental field and mother care clinic.
